Vodeora · Legal
Acceptable Use & Content Disclaimer
Last updated: September 8, 2026
This policy is part of the Vodeora Terms of Service and explains what Vodeora is, what it is not, and how you may use it. It applies to everyone who uses the Vodeora applications or the vodeora.com website (the "Service").
1. How Vodeora works
Vodeora reads playlists and source information that you enter (for example a URL, a file, or credentials issued to you by a provider) and gives you tools to browse, organise and play that media on your devices. The connection to a source is made directly from your device. WiseTechSoftware LLC is not in the path of that connection, does not cache or relay the media, and has no way to know what a given source contains.
2. Your responsibility for sources and content
You are solely responsible for what you add to and access through Vodeora. You must:
- only add sources that you are legally entitled to use, and only obtain media from lawful, authorised providers;
- hold all subscriptions, licences and permissions required for the content you access;
- comply with all applicable laws, including copyright and broadcasting law, and with the terms of the provider that supplies each source; and
- keep your account credentials and any provider credentials secure and not share them unlawfully.
If you are not sure whether you are allowed to use a particular source or piece of content, do not add it.
3. Prohibited uses
You must not use the Service to:
- access, stream, download, store, share or redistribute any content that you do not own or are not licensed or otherwise permitted to use;
- infringe or facilitate the infringement of any copyright, trademark, broadcasting right or other intellectual property or proprietary right;
- circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, geographic restrictions, paywalls, digital rights management or other technical protection measures;
- publish, distribute or promote playlists or sources that provide unauthorised access to third-party content;
- upload, store or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that depicts or promotes child sexual abuse or exploitation;
- use the Service for commercial redistribution, public performance or resale of any content;
- interfere with, overload, probe or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure, or bypass security or rate limits;
- use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access the Service except as expressly permitted; or
- violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
4. No monitoring; no obligation to screen
WiseTechSoftware LLC does not pre-screen, monitor or review the sources or content that users configure, and has no obligation to do so. Any automated organisation features (such as grouping channels or matching programme guide data) operate on data you supply and do not constitute review or endorsement of it.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this policy and may take any action we consider appropriate, including issuing warnings, disabling sync for specific stored data, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting activity to the relevant authorities. Where we receive a valid legal request or copyright notice concerning material stored in a user’s account, we may disable or remove that stored reference in accordance with our Copyright & DMCA Policy.
6. Reporting misuse
To report a suspected violation of this policy, email info@vodeora.com. Copyright owners should follow the process in our Copyright & DMCA Policy.
7. Disclaimer
WiseTechSoftware LLC is not responsible for, and disclaims all liability relating to, the sources and content that users choose to access through the Service. Your use of any third-party source is at your own risk and is a matter between you and the provider of that source.
